…our first visit to the Autumn Quilt Festival at Chilford as exhibitors and our first blog post! We are Janet and Louise and we run Glenroy Designs, an online shop selling fabric, patterns, kits and a few other things besides. It’s all pretty exciting for us as we’ve only been up and running for a few months and we’re slowly catching up with the tweeting and blogging side of things – not to mention the amazing work from all you quilters/sewists/crafters out there.
The fabric we sell is a mix of contemporary and traditional but with an emphasis on design so it’s ideal for quilting, clothing and other projects like bags and home decor. We also love matching fabric across collections so you’ll see lots of combinations of fabric on our website that we think look great together and we’ll also help out with matching fabric as well.
We hope the blog will be a place where we can share our inspiration with you and you with us. We’ll post tutorials, feature new fabrics and of course have a show and tell section because, let’s face it, everybody loves to see what other people are making!
